ATproto is a generally cool design and is clearly downstream of things like IPFS at its core but most bluesky users would never know that
The Merkel-Search-Tree (MST) at the center of the ATproto repository is a really clever design
CBOR-DRISL might turn into my personal lingua franca for data soon but I need more experience with it
I'm not super sure how much I love the permissions design of ATproto in general right now. It feels weird to trust a random app with all my personal information. Bad actors could be really dangerous
